Sundevil History 1999- Present
1998 -2001
Our association with the local rugby club had been an important factor in our development but losing John Narbett to retirement really set the clock back on the program. It was clear that without life support, the Sundevils rugby program might dissolve at SDSS. Narbett and a group of ex-players and coaches decided to put togehter a Five Year plan.

By 2003, the Sundevil squad was strengthening and interest at the school was growing, thanks to the marketing efforts of Harold and the Ad Guys, who put up posters reguarly in the school to entice players out and it was working. The numbers were increasing and interest was keen.
Sundevils Senior Squad - 2005
2004 - 2005
By 2005, the program was maturing and players who were staying committed added experience, a critical factor for the senior team in particular. By 2006, it was becoming evident that the five year plan was working and the numbers were growing.
Old Boys Alumni Game - 2005
The annaul Old Boys Alumni game has continued to grow in popularity and has helped to rasie a few bucks to help out with team expenses. Each year there are a few surprise faces that materialize and it's always a blast getting together.
